Philantropic Artists Back to Work!

After a few months break, Jocelyn Edlin and Christina Dickson are back in the action! These two photographers are partnering together to produce a multi-media piece on the children who are in Christian Family Adoptions Foster-Adopt program. What is it like for these kids to have no one? What do their lives look like? How can a family really make a difference for a life?

This is what our piece will highlight for churches, corporate sponsors, and many individuals.

The next 6 weeks the two multi-media photographers will be hard at work to organize, edit, and publish this piece. Here's a glimpse at their planning session last friday in Portland.

Be sure to check out our video updates! We'll be posting every week!

"Is there anything more rewarding than using your art to help change lives?" - Christina Dickson

RevMedia Needs You : Internship Position

The day has come and the time is now.

Its only appropriate that just after the 1 year mark, Revolutionary Media is outgrowing its staff.

To be honest, RevMedia needs y.o.u.

I am opening a monthly internship opportunity for individuals who wants to be intrinsically a part of the Rescue the Beauty mission with Revolutionary Media.

And one of the coolest parts? There's even a weekly honorarium.

Here's what RevMedia needs:

Qualities:
- An individual who is passionate about Jesus and His work of redemption.
- An individual whose life is defined with the desire and outpouring of "See the Need and Be the Change."
- An individual who works well with other people
- An individual who is recommended by at least 2 people.
- An individual who is artistic, has good taste in music, and loves coffee. ;-)

Abilities:
- An individual who is self motivated and a competent tasker.
- An individual comfortable with writing and research.
- An individual who understands online network utility tools such as blogger, facebook, twitter, and skype.
- An individual who understands or is willing to learn about basic actions in photoshop and illustrator.
- An individual who can devote 1-2 hours daily to these tasks.

If you have been tagged in this note, I believe you may be someone who would find this position rewarding and a good experience.

Pray about it. There's nothing cooler than being a part of a vision larger than yourself. You don't have to be perfect. You don't have to be well known. You don't have to be a miracle child.

You just have to be sold out for Jesus, and dabble in a few other things.

;-)

If you feel this is something God may have you do, please email me : info@TheRevMediaProject.com.
From there, we'll set up a time to chat about specifically what the position would entail, and why you think God may be calling you to do. If you know someone who may find this a next step, please forward the note to them.

Sound good?

Let's get to it then.

- Christina

It's been a year.

One year since the launch of the Portland Rescue the Beauty Projects.

Words cannot express how the RevMedia team feels about this journey, and how grateful we are that you have loyally walked with us down that road.

This video is for you.

This product line is for you.

And may we celebrate many more birthdays together. Changing the world by proclaiming - through art - our message of redemption and hope in Rescue the Beauty.
